  What we collect

Contact & business details — your name, email, and (if you provide them) company, role and the website you ask us to review. Subscription & payment information — your subscription status and billing history. We do not collect or store your card number — card details are collected and stored securely by our payment provider, Stripe, who charge your card on our behalf. We receive limited information from Stripe (for example, that a payment succeeded, the card’s last four digits, and your billing contact details). Communications — the emails you send us and our replies, and which of our emails you open or click. Website usage — with your consent, Google Analytics 4 data: pages viewed, general location (city/region), device and browser, referrer, and interactions such as button clicks. IP addresses are anonymised.

• 02

  How we collect it

Directly from you when you request a report, start or manage a subscription, fill in a form, or email us. Automatically through analytics cookies, but only after you accept our cookie banner. From our providers — payment and subscription status from Stripe.

• 03

  Why we use it

To deliver reports and run your subscription (including sending each quarterly edition); process recurring payments and issue tax invoices; respond to your enquiries; send you service messages (your reports, billing notices, changes to terms); with your consent or where otherwise permitted, send you occasional updates about new articles and products, which you can opt out of at any time; improve the site and our products; and meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

• 04

  Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under their own terms:

  Provider	Purpose	Location
Stripe	Payments & subscription billing	USA / global
Resend	Sending your reports, subscription editions & emails	USA
  Netlify	Website hosting	USA
Google (Analytics)	Website analytics (consent-gated)	USA / global

• 05

  Direct marketing and your choices

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honour opt-outs promptly (as required by the Spam Act 2003). You can also email hello@jackdraw.com to opt out. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential service messages about a subscription you hold (billing, your quarterly editions) — to stop those, cancel the subscription.

• 06

  Overseas disclosure

Some of the providers above store or process data outside Australia, primarily in the United States. By using our services you acknowledge this. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.

• 07

How we keep it secure, and how long

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access — including using PCI-compliant Stripe for payments and reputable, access-controlled providers. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations (for example, tax records for 5 years), then delete or de-identify it.

• 08

  Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@jackdraw.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

• 09

  Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site engagement. Analytics cookies load only after you click “Accept” on our consent banner; choose “Decline” and no analytics cookies or requests are set. Your choice is stored on your device. We don’t run advertising or ad-tracking pixels.

  Complaints
