Accessibility at Jackdraw
Our benchmarks measure how accessible other brands' digital experiences are — accessibility is consistently the weakest area we find. We hold ourselves to the same bar.
Our commitment
Jackdraw aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the technical standard behind the EU Accessibility Act (via EN 301 549) and equivalent to what our audits score brands against. We treat accessibility as an ongoing practice, not a one-off.
What we've built in
- Semantic structure & landmarks — a single, logical heading order per page and a
mainlandmark on every page. - Skip-to-content link — keyboard users can bypass the navigation on every page.
- Visible focus — a clear focus outline on every interactive element.
- Colour contrast — text and UI meet the WCAG AA 4.5:1 (and 3:1 for large text) ratios.
- Text alternatives — meaningful images and share cards carry descriptive alt text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Keyboard operable — the site is navigable and usable without a mouse.
- Reduced motion — animations are minimised for anyone who prefers reduced motion.
- Resizable, responsive — content reflows and remains usable when zoomed and on small screens.
Known limitations
A few components are provided by third parties and are outside our direct control: the Stripe checkout used for purchases, and the LinkedIn insight tag. These vendors maintain their own accessibility conformance. If any of them create a barrier for you, tell us and we'll find another way to help you complete the task.
Tell us if something isn't working
If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site — or need a report or information in a different format — email hello@jackdraw.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to resolve genuine barriers promptly.
